- Adult Programs: Pays for covered medical services for those persons who are unable to afford to pay for medically necessary services and who meet certain eligibility requirements.
- Programs for Children: Kids Connection (also known as CHIP) provides health care coverage for children under age 19.

Exchange: The federal government will run the health insurance exchange in Nebraska.
Medicaid: It is not known at this time whether the state will expand Medicaid eligibility.
