American Psychological Association (APA) – is a scientific organization that represents psychologists, but also has helpful resources for patients.
DaVita – is one of the largest dialysis providers in the US and provides a lot of education resources for patients.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) – is another nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the mental health of Americans.
National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) – is the largest scientific organization in the world dedicated to research on mental health conditions.
Mental Health America (NMHA) – is a nonprofit advocacy organization that works on mental health and substance use conditions.
World Health Organization (WHO) – is the United Nation’s public health arm. This is another good source of basic information about mental health issues.
